1999-2000 Formula® 41 PC Ameritex Model Specific Details: Stainless steel Frames. 41PC boats made before 1999jan24 (HIN ending in 'x899' or 'A999') used Taylor Made® canvas (Connector and Side Curtains same color as Bimini Top). 41PC boats made after 1999jan24 (HIN ending in 'B999' or later, 'x900' or 'x000') used Ameritex® canvas (Silver Front Connector and Side Curtains). Type 316L stainless steel top frames. Formula® originally offered the 1999-2000 41 PC Ameritex in Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Cadet Grey, Taupe (no longer available, Formula has replaced this with similar TOAST TWEED) or Linen Sunbrella® fabric with SeaMark® (vinyl lined, waterproof Sunbrella) tops (Connector and Front Side Curtain offered ONLY in Silver) fabric.
Product Details: Camper-Top-Frame only (NO Canvas or Curtains). The Camper-Top-Frame is attached to the back (sometimes the front on Bow-Riders or Deck Boats) of a Bimini, Sunshade, Convertible Top or Arch that has its own frame. When combined with Curtains, the Camper-Top fully encloses the back of the boat providing full, protected use of the rear cockpit area at the dock or underway. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order and shipped from Ameritex® .
Formula® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes:A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker), or the legible Part Numbers from the White Tag if you have them OR we can lookup 2010+ Formula® P/Ns in our system (just enter P/N 123456789 if you don't have any Part Numbers and make up a DT code between 2011 and 2019). Formula® Canvas Zipper Size:
#8 (6 teeth/inch) used up to early 2005 and from 2009 forward,
#10 (5 teeth/inch) used on most (not all) boats from the end of 2005 through the 2008 model year
(it is necessary to check your zipper size when ordering 2005-1008 canvas: simply measure the number of teeth over 2 inches and divide by 2 for accuracy)
. Boot Covers MAY have the Formula® logo embroidered in Silver, Gold, Black or White (Formula specified depending on fabric color). All Formula® frame bows and hardware are Type 316L Stainless Steel. All Formula® Tops are sewn with Gore(®) Tenara(®) Thread to avoid rotting. Most (NOT All) Formula® Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Formula® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Formula® made their factory OEM Bow, Cockpit and Mooring Covers in-house themselves, so we do NOT have them. We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Formula® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: [xxxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Formula® Hull Identication Number (HIN) scheme is TNRsssssmbyy, where [yy] is the model year.

WE MUST HAVE THE P/N FROM THE STICKER ON YOUR OLD FRAME TO PROCEED.

Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
