Notes:
- 1999-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Sport Model Specific Details: Monterey® actually called the "Forward Bimini" (over the bow area) a "Camper Top" on the Explorer™ deck boats. The "Bimini" on this boat is over the aft Cockpit area. Monterey® originally offered the 1999-2002 240 Explorer Sport in Captain Navy, Forest Green and Burgundy Sunbrella® fabric.
- Product Details: Bimini-Top tubular Framework (and Support Poles if used), Canvas, Boot Cover, fittings and mounting hardware (some Boat Manufacturers supplied their own hardware, so we don't supply it then). Bimini-top canvas has Zippers for Front Visor, Side-Curtains (and Aft-Drop-Curtain if so equipped). Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order.
- Monterey® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: For Ameritex® (Not Great Lakes or BLI®) canvas, covers & frames: A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag. We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code fromthe tag (or sticker). WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Monterey® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Monterey® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Monterey® boats over 2 years old. Monterey® OEM canvas part number scheme: tags, where [xxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Monterey® Hull Identification Number (HIN)= RGFsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
- Factory OEM canvas: GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 SPTSNr -x0xxx-Acc]
- TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
  1. White GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 SPTSNr -x0xxx-Acc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
  2. The GLBT p/® logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
  3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

Size/Fit:
1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {1999,2000,2001,2002} Monterey® 240 Explorer Sport: 240SPT Explorer Sport (FULL WINDSHIELD) deck boat WithOut Radar Arch or Tower (NOT the plain 240 Explorer, which has a small windshield at the helm).
2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 SPTSNr -x0xxx-Acc] ("cc" is the color code).
3. Fits specified boat and ONLY zips to the factory OEM curtains.
4. Verify that your old and mating canvas has GLBT on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND factory #8 zippers (6 teeth/inch), NOT #10 (5 teeth/inch) which are After-Market zippers.
5. Ships in a 96inch x 5inch x 69inch Box weighing approximately 45pounds.
6. Check the 1999-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Sport Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (RGFsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bimini Top Canvas and Frame Boot, with Zippers, SeaMark® fabric (Factory OEM),
