  • Notes:
    • 2000-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat Model Specific Details: To fully enclose the 240 Explorer requires: the Forward Bimini-Top and its Front and Side Curtains along with the aft Bimini-Top and its Side and Aft Curtains. Monterey® actually called the "Forward Bimini" (over the bow area) a "Camper Top" on the Explorer™ deck boats. The "Bimini" on this boat is over the aft Cockpit area. Monterey® originally offered the 2000-2002 240 Explorer Deck Boat in Captain Navy, Forest Green and Burgundy Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Replaces worn, damaged or old Bimini-Top-Canvas. Canvas only with Zippers for Front Visor, Side-Curtains (and Aft-Drop-Curtain if so equipped). No Frame, Visor, Curtains, Boot or Valance included - sold separately. Also called: Boston Whaler "Sun-Top" or Grady White "Vista Top". Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order.
    • Monterey® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSFor Ameritex® (Not Great Lakes or BLI®) canvas, covers & frames: A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag. We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code fromthe tag (or sticker). WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Monterey® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Monterey® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Monterey® boats over 2 years old. Monterey® OEM canvas part number scheme: tags, where [xxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Monterey® Hull Identification Number (HIN)= RGFsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.
    • Factory OEM canvas: GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 EXPSNr -x0xxx-Acc]
    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 EXPSNr -x0xxx-Acc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The GLBT p/®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 EXPSNr -x0xxx-Acc] ("cc" is the color code).
    3. ONLY fits Factory OEM Bimini-Top Frame, Visor and Side-Curtains with GLBT tags.
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Verify that your old and mating canvas has GLBT on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND factory #8 zippers (6 teeth/inch), NOT #10 (5 teeth/inch) which are After-Market zippers.
    5. Ships in a 42inch x 25inch x 7inch Box weighing approximately 38pounds.
