- 2012-2017 Sea Ray® 250 SLX Aluminum Folding Tower Model Specific Details: The cast aluminum XTX Tower (Manufactured by Extreme Towers® for Sea Ray) folds forward on this boat. The Top is a single piece of canvas that goes over the cockpit area and the Arch/Tower. In 2014, Sea Ray called this a 'Black Forward Facing Tower w/ Bimini' or 'Tower, Water Sports - Forward Facing & Folding, White or Black Aluminum w/Integral Bimini Top & Anchor Light'. The Cockpit Cover goes to the TOP of the Windshield, NOT Over the Windshield. Sea Ray® originally offered the 2012-2017 250 SLX Aluminum Folding Tower in Black, Marine Midnight or Toast Tweed (2015+) Sunbrella® fabric.
- Product Details: Covers open bow area. Comes with Adjustable Aluminum Support Pole with Snap or Grommet (hole) through reinforced area in center of Bow-Cover. Bow-Cover has 25 to 60 standard 3/8" snaps, depending on the boat. Includes Male Snap-Stud-Screws. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) cover made-to-order. If purchased alone the Bow Cover ships in 43x12x5 inch box weighing approximately 5 pounds.
- Sea Ray® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: Zippers on Sea Ray® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch) up to 35 foot, #10 over 35 foot (5 teeth/inch). Cockpit Covers for open bridge boats (Sundancer, SunDeck, SunSport, SLX, Bowrider, Express Cruiser, Weekender) prior to 2008 cover the windshield, 2008 and newer attach to Top of windshield. Embroidered Sea Ray® logo on SOME (when offered by Sea Ray) Boot Covers was Tan (gold) until 2011, then Silver 2012 and newer. Sea Ray® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). 2. Stainless Steel Snaps included but NOT installed in canvas, Snap Tool required.
3. This will allow for a perfect field fit when replacing existing canvas (when male snaps are already installed on boat).

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (SERxssssmyxx) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bow Cover (Factory OEM),
