Notes:
- 2000-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat Model Specific Details: To fully enclose the 240 Explorer requires: the Forward Bimini-Top and its Front and Side Curtains along with the aft Bimini-Top and its Side and Aft Curtains. Monterey® actually called the "Forward Bimini" (over the bow area) a "Camper Top" on the Explorer™ deck boats. The "Bimini" on this boat is over the aft Cockpit area. Monterey® originally offered the 2000-2002 240 Explorer Deck Boat in Captain Navy, Forest Green and Burgundy Sunbrella® fabric.
- Product Details: To replace worn, damaged or old Forward-Bimini-Top-Canvas. Canvas only. No Zippers or Boot. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order.
- Monterey® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: For Ameritex® (Not Great Lakes or BLI®) canvas, covers & frames: A laser-engraved, black rubber tag is sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), and the only way we are able to manufacture the exact canvas, cover or frame specific to your boat is if you provide the part number (P/N) on that tag. We will require the P/N (112350xxx and Greater) and DT date code fromthe tag (or sticker). WE WILL MAKE THIS EXACT PART NUMBER, so there are NO RETURNS, REFUNDS or EXCHANGES. Zippers on OEM Monterey® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Monterey® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Monterey® boats over 2 years old. Monterey® OEM canvas part number scheme: tags, where [xxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Monterey® Hull Identification Number (HIN)= RGFsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.

- TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
  1. White GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 EXPSNr -x0xxx-Acc] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
  2. The GLBT p/® logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
  3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2000,2001,2002} Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat: 240EX Explorer (SMALL WINDSHIELD AT HELM) deck boat WithOut Radar Arch or Tower (NOT the 240 SPORT Explorer, which has a FULL windshield).
2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with GLBT tags p/n [yyMO240 EXPSNr -x0xxx-Acc] ("cc" is the color code).
3. Only fits Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) Forward Bimini Top Frame with GLBT tags on existing Bimini Top.
4. Check the 2000-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
5. Does NOT fit Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat prior to 2000.
6. Does NOT fit Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat after 2002.
7. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2000-2002 Monterey® 240 Explorer Deck Boat.

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (RGFsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Fwd Bimini Top Canvas (Factory OEM),
