Factory Arch Aft Top CONNECTION (Zipper Strip for Track) connects the Front of the Arch-Aft-Top (not included) to Track on the Back of the Radar Arch, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2009-2009 digitized patterns approved by Formula® for the 40 PC Hard-Top: F-40PC Performance Cruiser with factory installed Hard-Top:
  • Notes:
    • 2009-2009 Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top Model Specific Details: We have the OEM canvas for this boat, but it is not in our online database yet. Please Email with Year, Make and Model for information and pricing. Formula® originally offered the 2009-2009 40 PC Hard-Top in Black, Cadet Grey and Marine Blue Sunbrella®, Pearlescent (white) Aqualon® Arch Connections (zipper strips) and Polycarbonate (hard) front Connector fabric.
    • Product Details: narrow (1-2 inch wide) Connection (Zipper) Strip with Keder Welt along one edge and a Zipper along the other edge to connect Arch-Aft-Top (NOT included) to track on the back of Radar Arch. Strip Only. No Track or Arch-Aft-Top.
    • Formula® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker), or the legible Part Numbers from the White Tag if you have them OR we can lookup 2010+ Formula® P/Ns in our system (just enter P/N 123456789 if you don't have any Part Numbers and make up a DT code between 2011 and 2019). Formula® Canvas Zipper Size:
      • #8 (6 teeth/inch) used up to early 2005 and from 2009 forward,
      • #10 (5 teeth/inch) used on most (not all) boats from the end of 2005 through the 2008 model year (it is necessary to check your zipper size when ordering 2005-1008 canvas: simply measure the number of teeth over 2 inches and divide by 2 for accuracy)
      . Boot Covers MAY have the Formula® logo embroidered in Silver, Gold, Black or White (Formula specified depending on fabric color). All Formula® frame bows and hardware are Type 316L Stainless Steel. All Formula® Tops are sewn with Gore(®) Tenara(®) Thread to avoid rotting. Most (NOT All) Formula® Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Formula® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Formula® made their factory OEM Bow, Cockpit and Mooring Covers in-house themselves, so we do NOT have them. We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Formula® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: [xxxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Formula® Hull Identication Number (HIN) scheme is TNRsssssmbyy, where [yy] is the model year.

    • TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:
      1. White Ameritex® tags p/n [1114xccc - S - TB 401 HT] (the tags are approx. 2-3 inches x 4-5 inches),
      2. The Ameritex®  logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
      3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

  • Size/Fit:
    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the 2009-2009 Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top: F-40PC Performance Cruiser with factory installed Hard-Top.
    2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Ameritex® tags p/n [1114xccc - S - TB 401 HT] ("ccc" is the color code).
    3. Slides into track on the back of the factory Radar Arch and Zips to the front of the Arch-Aft-Top (NOT included).
    4. Factory OEM #8 Zippers Ameritex Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
    5. Only fits Factory OEM Radar Arch and Arch-Aft-Top.
    6. Check the 2009-2009 Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    7. Does NOT fit Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top prior to 2009.
    8. Does NOT fit Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top after 2009.
    9. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2009-2009 Formula® 40 PC Hard-Top.

  • Options:
  • Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
    • Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
    • Will perform as described when installed properly.
    You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (TNRpssssmyxx) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Arch Aft Top Connection (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
