- 2000-2002 Chaparral® 200 SSE Model Specific Details: We no longer have the Taylor-Made® canvas or covers for this boat. Chaparral® originally offered the 2000-2002 200 SSE in Black, Marine Blue, Linen (Chaparral called this Beige), Sunflower Yellow or Jockey Red Sunbrella® fabric.
- Product Details: Replaces worn, damaged or old Bimini-Top-Canvas. Canvas only with Zippers for Front Connector, Side-Curtains (and Aft-Drop-Curtain if so equipped). No Frame, Connector, Curtains, Boot or Valance included - sold separately. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order.
- Chaparral® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker). Zippers on OEM Chaparral® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Boot-Covers have Black or White embroidered Chaparral® logo. Most (NOT All) Chaparral® Bimini and Camper Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Chaparral® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Chaparral® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Chaparral® HIN = FGBsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.

- TIP: Be sure to check your existing (and adjacent connecting) canvas pieces (and frames) for:

  2. The Taylor-Made® logo embossed on the heads of the stainless canvas snaps,
  3. The Zipper Size listed above (#8 in most cases) on all zippers.

Size/Fit:
1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2000,2001,2002} Chaparral® 200 SSE bow rider, No Wakeboard Tower or Radar Arch.
2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with Taylor-Made® tags p/n [2917ccccxxx] ("ccc" is the color code).
3. Pockets (some are zippered) to fit on Factory OEM Bimini-Top Frame.
4. Zips to front Connector and Side-Curtains (NOT included).
5. Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
6. Typically zips to factory Radar-Arch, Arch-Connection (zipper strip) or front of Camper-Top (no tincluded) at Rear (or may be stand-alone).
7. Check the 2000-2002 Chaparral® 200 SSE Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
8. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 200 SSE prior to 2000.
9. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 200 SSE after 2002.
10. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2000-2002 Chaparral® 200 SSE.

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (FGBsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Bimini Top Canvas, with Zippers (Factory OEM),
Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.

IMPORTANT information required about your 2000-2002 Chaparral 200 SSE:
As of Dec 2016, we can no longer lookup the factory original-equipment (OEM) Canvas (Tops or Curtains) or Frame part numbers for this model/year boat (we can lookup and make Covers) because there were many changes to the original Taylor-Made(r) patterns so we do not have sufficient information to determine exactly which part number canvas pieces fit your boat, HOWEVER: 1) IF you have your Canvas Part Number we can make that exact Part Number, 2) We CAN lookup and make the correct Bow, Cockpit or Mooring Cover (just enter 123456789 for the P/N, and any DT after 2011) We do offer many non-OEM boat covers as well ?
