2000-2003 Formula® 31 PC Model Specific Details: Size #8 (6 teeth/inch) Zippers (not #10 = 5 teeth/inch). Stainless steel frames. The front Connector is a single panel (not 3 panels) with no zip-open window. The Camper Aft Curtain has an upside down U-Shaped window with screen in it. The Camper Top has (2) round, clear vinyl port holes for the down lights on the bottom of the Radar Arch to shine through to light the cockpit. Type 316L stainless steel top frames. The Bimini-Boot does NOT have the Formula® logo. Formula® originally offered the 2000-2003 31 PC in Black, Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Cadet Grey, Forest Green or Taupe (no longer available, Formula has replaced this with similar TOAST TWEED) Sunbrella® with SeaMark® vinyl lined waterproof Sunbrella® tops OR Pearlescent (white) Aqualon® . The Front Connector and Bimini Side Curtains are ALSO available in Silver Sunbrella® as per Formula specifications from 2000 to 2003 fabric.
Product Details: Camper-Top-Frame only (NO Canvas or Curtains). The Camper-Top-Frame is attached to the back (sometimes the front on Bow-Riders or Deck Boats) of a Bimini, Sunshade, Convertible Top or Arch that has its own frame. When combined with Curtains, the Camper-Top fully encloses the back of the boat providing full, protected use of the rear cockpit area at the dock or underway. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order and shipped from Ameritex® .
Formula® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes:A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker), or the legible Part Numbers from the White Tag if you have them OR we can lookup 2010+ Formula® P/Ns in our system (just enter P/N 123456789 if you don't have any Part Numbers and make up a DT code between 2011 and 2019). Formula® Canvas Zipper Size:
#8 (6 teeth/inch) used up to early 2005 and from 2009 forward,
#10 (5 teeth/inch) used on most (not all) boats from the end of 2005 through the 2008 model year
(it is necessary to check your zipper size when ordering 2005-1008 canvas: simply measure the number of teeth over 2 inches and divide by 2 for accuracy)
. Boot Covers MAY have the Formula® logo embroidered in Silver, Gold, Black or White (Formula specified depending on fabric color). All Formula® frame bows and hardware are Type 316L Stainless Steel. All Formula® Tops are sewn with Gore(®) Tenara(®) Thread to avoid rotting. Most (NOT All) Formula® Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Formula® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). Formula® made their factory OEM Bow, Cockpit and Mooring Covers in-house themselves, so we do NOT have them. We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Formula® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: [xxxxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Formula® Hull Identication Number (HIN) scheme is TNRsssssmbyy, where [yy] is the model year.

WE MUST HAVE THE P/N FROM THE STICKER ON YOUR OLD FRAME TO PROCEED.

Verify that your old and mating canvas has AMERITEX® or TAYLOR-MADE® on the tags and embossed on the Canvas Snaps AND the correct factory OEM Zipper Size (#8 = 6 teeth/inch in most cases).
