Notes:
- 2005-2006 Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch Model Specific Details: The canvas on the 256SSI changed from Taylor Made® to Ameritex® around January 2005, so please be sure to check tags for [Ameritex®] versus [Taylor Made®] tags. Unfortunately, Taylor Made® is no longer able to produce the factory OEM canvas and covers for the 2004-2005 Chaparral 256 SSI. We can only provide the 2005-2006 Ameritex® canvas, frames and covers. The Ameritex® canvas does NOT fit with the Taylor Made® canvas or frames. The 2004 and 2005 bats are the same, so you can use the 2005-2006 canvas and frames on the 2004 boat if you change EVERYTHING. The front Connector has 3 panels that zip together. Chaparral® originally offered the 2005-2006 256 SSI Radar Arch in Black, Mediterranean Blue Tweed, Marine Blue, Beige, Burgundy, Jockey Red and Sunflower Yellow Sunbrella® fabric.
- Product Details: Snaps tightly over Cockpit Area ONLY (not the Bow area) of boat. Cockpit-Cover has 30 to 80 standard 3/8" snaps, depending on the boat. Stainless steel Canvas-Snaps are included but not installed in the cover. Includes Male Snap-Stud-Screws. Premium (extra cost) Sunbrella colors are: Jockey Red, Yellow, Logo Red, Burgundy, and Orange.
- Chaparral® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: A laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker). Zippers on OEM Chaparral® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Boot-Covers have Black or White embroidered Chaparral® logo. Most (NOT All) Chaparral® Bimini and Camper Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Chaparral® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Chaparral® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Chaparral® HIN = FGBsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.

1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2005,2006} Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch: 256SSI bow rider with factory installed Radar Arch.
2. Only fits Factory-Original Windshield, Arch/Tower (if so equipped) setups.
3. Snaps included but NOT installed in canvas, so a Snap Installation Tool is required.
4. Made per Factory-Original specification (many Cockpit-Covers do NOT offer special Cut-Outs).
5. Many (NOT ALL) Cockpit-Covers have Cutouts for the Top Frames to pass through.
6. Check the 2005-2006 Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
7. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch prior to 2005.
8. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch after 2006.
9. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2005-2006 Chaparral® 256 SSI Radar Arch.

- Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
- Will perform as described when installed properly.

Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (FGBsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Cockpit Cover (Factory OEM),
