Factory Hard Top AFT CURTAIN connects from Hard-Top to Transom, typically with Strataglass(r) window(s), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2008-2009 digitized patterns approved by Sea Ray® for the 55 Sundancer: 55DA Sundancer, HIN: SERY xxxxxxxx (Sykes Creek FL plant):
  • Notes: Sea Ray logo
    • 2008-2009 Sea Ray® 55 Sundancer Model Specific Details: The Aft Hard-Top Curtain is available as an Angled-Aft-Curtain that goes to the transom OR a Vertical-Aft-DROP-Curtain that goes straight down to the floor, and we need to know if you have the Low/Single Grab Rail (plan A) or High/Triple (Plan B, extra hand rails on each side) Grab Rail(s) along the transom. Please let us know if you want the Angled-Aft-Curtain WITH or WITHOUT the (2) 30mil Strataglass® split windows (we actually made them for Sea Ray without the 2 windows, but most owners want them), and if you want clear 30mil Strataglass® or Fabric (for privacy) in the (2) trianfgular side windows on the Aft Curtain. The Windshield Cover ONLY covers the front windshield, NOT the side windows. Zippers are size #10 (5 teeth per inch). Sea Ray® originally offered the 2008-2009 55 Sundancer in Black, Marine Midnight (no longer available, select Captain Navy, Navy or Black instead, but these will not match original Marine Midnight) and Pewter Sunbrella® (or RECacril®)and Black Phifertex® windshield cover fabric.
    • Product Details: Mounts under Rear of Hard-Top with Plastic or Aluminum Tracks (included as needed) and SS Snap-Stud-Screws. Extends to back of boat. The Hard-Top Aft-Curtain may have 25 to 60 standard 3/8" snaps or bungee cords, depending on the boat. Snaps included. Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) canvas made-to-order and shipped from Boatswains Locker.
    • Sea Ray® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: Zippers on Sea Ray® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch) up to 35 foot, #10 over 35 foot (5 teeth/inch). Cockpit Covers for open bridge boats (Sundancer, SunDeck, SunSport, SLX, Bowrider, Express Cruiser, Weekender) prior to 2008 cover the windshield, 2008 and newer attach to Top of windshield. Embroidered Sea Ray® logo on SOME (when offered by Sea Ray) Boot Covers was Tan (gold) until 2011, then Silver 2012 and newer. Sea Ray® installed the snaps in their boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Sea Ray® boats over 2 years old. Sea Ray® OEM canvas/covers part numbers: [yySRmmm mm tar-xxxxx-fcc] where [yy] is the model year, [SR] is Sea Ray®, [mmm mm] is the boat model, [t] is the type of window or drive (S=Std-Windshield, W=optional-stainless-Windshield, I=I/O-sterndrive, O=Outboard), [a] is (A)rch or (N)o-arch, [r] is the revision, [xxxxx] identifies which canvas piece, [f] is the fabric (A=Sunbrella® acrylic, S=SeaMark®) and [cc] is the color code.     2. Will ONLY fit and/or zip to other Factory OEM canvas/frames with BLI® tags p/n [0ySR55DA xxx-xxxx-fcc] ("cc" is the color code).
    3. Fits Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) Hard-Top and Side-Curtains perfectly.
    4. Verify "Boatswains Locker" label on existing canvas).
    5. Will NOT fit after-market top or canvas.
    6. Stainless Steel Snaps included but NOT installed in canvas (to allow perfect alignment on install), need Snap Tool.
    7. Check the 2008-2009 Sea Ray® 55 Sundancer Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    8. Does NOT fit Sea Ray® 55 Sundancer prior to 2008.

    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (SERxssssmyxx) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Hard Top Aft-Curtain, Strataglass® windows (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.

For VISOR orders, we will need the measurement from the Center of the Top of the Windshield to the Bottom of the Track on the front of the Hard-Top in order to insure a perfect, tight fit ?
