Factory MOORING COVER (NO Ski/Wake Tower), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in Sunbrella® marine fabric, produced with the same high quality, original 2004-2009 digitized patterns approved by Chaparral® for the 204 SSI bow rider, No Wakeboard Tower or Radar Arch:

    • 2004-2009 Chaparral® 204 SSI Model Specific Details: We no longer have the Taylor-Made® canvas or covers for this boat. The Cockpit Cover is no longer available as of Feb 2019. Chaparral® originally offered the 2004-2009 204 SSI in Black, Marine Blue, Beige, Burgundy or Sunflower Yellow Sunbrella® fabric.
    • Product Details: Factory Original-Equipment (OEM) cover made-to-order in your selected color.
    • Chaparral® Factory Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Notes: TAGSA laser-engraved, Black Rubber Tag and a White Canvas Tag are sewn into every Ameritex® (we no longer make Taylor-Made®) original-equipment canvas or cover (a laser printed sticker is on each frame), so we need the P/N (Part Number) and DT date code from the Black Tag (or sticker). Zippers on OEM Chaparral® canvas are size #8 (6 teeth/inch). Most (NOT All) Boot-Covers have Black or White embroidered Chaparral® logo. Most (NOT All) Chaparral® Bimini and Camper Tops have zippered frame (bow) pockets for easy installation. Chaparral® installed the snaps in the boats, canvas and covers at their factory, so we cannot install the canvas snaps for you because we do not have locations (see Canvas/Snap Installation to learn about installing snaps). We can only sell canvas and covers direct for Chaparral® boats over 2 years old. OEM canvas part number scheme: Ameritex® or Taylor-Made® tags where [xxx] identifies the canvas piece and [ccc] is the color code. Chaparral® HIN = FGBsssssmbyy , where [yy] = model year.

    1. Factory Original-Equipment-Manufacturer (OEM) patterned for the {2004,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009} Chaparral® 204 SSI bow rider, No Wakeboard Tower or Radar Arch.
    2. Factory Original Equipment (OEM) fit to specific boat/year only.
    3. The Mooring-Cover covers the entire boat and uses a drawstring in the hem (and possibly straps) to hold it in place.
    4. It does NOT have any snaps.
    5. Does NOT accommodate Wakeboard Tower (if so equipped) unless SPECIFICALLY stated in model NOTes.
    6. Check the 2004-2009 Chaparral® 204 SSI Model-Specific-Information abovefor any other size/fit notes and zipper size.
    7. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 204 SSI prior to 2004.
    8. Does NOT fit Chaparral® 204 SSI after 2009.
    9. Does NOT fit any year/make/model other than the 2004-2009 Chaparral® 204 SSI.

  • Guarantee: We guarantee our factory original (OEM) canvas, frames and covers:
    • Will be of first rate quality and free of manufacturing defects,
    • Will be made with the exact patterns and specifications as originally designed and delivered with the boat when new,
    • Will fit the specified boat, as long as the existing and mating canvas and frames are factory original: having part numbers, snaps and zipper size as specified in the Size/Fit and Model-Specific-Information on this page,
    • Will perform as described when installed properly.
    You can count on all of the above or we will repair or replace the item in question.

  • 12-digit HIN: (required)
    • Your 12-digit Hull-Identification-Number (HIN) (FGBsssssmbyy) is embossed on the starboard side of your transom, below the rub rail, and the HIN should also be on your registration papers (verify it with the official HIN on your transom) and may also be on your insurance documents,
    • The HIN is required to verify the boat manufacturer (first 3-digits) and determine date of manufacturer (last 4-digits) to determine the correct revision of the Mooring Cover Sunbrella (Factory OEM),
    • Unfortunately, the HIN does NOT tell us what model the boat is, what options the boat has or what color canvas it originally came with, so we must rely on you to select the boat, options and color from our web site.
